Well, I can't believe it's all over now and we'll be 4 weeks married this Saturday.
I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you both so much for all your help in the run up to what turned out to be a perfect day.

Tom couldn't have been more brilliant on the day. He was so helpful and on the ball from start to finish. He was a great support to the best man, guiding him through the day to make sure everything was as seamless as possible. So many of our guests complimented Tom and the rest of the staff on their absolute professionalism and attention to detail. There were a couple of really lovely gestures, such as a round of drinks on a table where one of the guests had to have chicken instead of turkey (which he didn't mind at all). The waiting staff and bar staff were lovely too, ensuring that everyone was well looked after at all times.
The food was absolutely gorgeous, well presented and delicious. Again, we had lots of compliments from our guests on this, and I saw for myself all the empty plates!

We had a lovely day on the Sunday in the Cellar Bar (Sinead, the surprise was lovely - thanks for your help in organising this)!! Again, the staff on duty couldn't have been more helpful and friendly to everyone.

All in all, we had a perfect wedding at Dunboyne Castle and will have very special memories of our day thanks to all of you.

We will definitely be back for anniversaries etc. in the future!

Please pass on our massive thanks to Tom and the banqueting staff who worked so hard all day to make sure everything was perfect.

We are emailing regarding our wedding reception which was held on in March 09 in Dunboyne Castle Hotel.

We just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the wedding reception. Absolutely everything at the reception was just perfect! From the moment we booked out reception last summer the hotel and its staff have been nothing but friendly, efficient and capable. We dealt mainly with Melanie Euler and she was impeccable in her dealings with us. She gave us fantastic advice during the lead up to the wedding with regards food, seating and anything else one could think of!

On the day of the reception everything went exactly to plan. All of our guests commented on the efficiency of the hotel staff and how beautifully presented the hotel was. Everyone's rooms were of great standard also.

At the reception the food was just beautiful and even better then we expected! And we would also like to thank you for the lovely personalized wedding guest book - it was a lovely touch!

We would like you to extend our thanks to all of the staff of the hotel, especially those involved in serving our guests on the big day.

From the moment we booked the wedding up until I checked my parents out today, the service was outstanding and everything was catered for to perfection.

We would thoroughly recommend the hotel for any event, especially for a wedding, and will definitely return again for overnights / dinners / spa etc, it is a truly great venue with very special and courteous staff.

We have to give a special mention to Chris who looked after the details for my hen night, but a very special mention has to go to Tom, the food and beverage guy who took care of us at the dinner on the day itself. He is very professional, very organised, a great guy, and made the whole thing run smoothly from the second we arrived at the hotel to the minute he
left that night. Nothing was too much trouble, He was fantastic and we hope the hotel appreciates what a star they have in him.

You have both been very patient with me - and all my demands - throughout, and have taken away a huge amount of worry and stress for me - so thanks to you 2 for that!!!

Hi Melanie,

Myself and my husband Eoin had our wedding reception at your hotel in June 2008. We only recently got our wedding DVD and looking at it we were delighted with how the day and eveny went. Even when our friends and family seen the DVD they spoke about how wonderful the hotel and staff were on the day.

I didnt get to speak to you or Tom on the day but I am just writing to say how pleased I was with the service & hospitality and alot of our guest complemented on how wonderful it was. I would especially like to thank Tom for all his wonderful effort on the day and making it all run so smoothly. So many of our family and friends spoke about how helpful and professional he was. I really felt that he helped make our day as special as it was.

I would also like to thank your reservations staff for all their help with booking our guest into the hotel and keeping me updated. I spoke with Louisa Breen on a few occasions and she was so pleasent and helpful.

Ambrose and I were married in Dunboyne on the 1st August 2009. It was a fantastic day. We would just like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Dunboyne castle for their friendliness, kindness and help in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. We would especially like to thank Sinead, Melanie and Tom for their support and for making our day so special. Sinead was brilliant at answering even the strangest questions and Tom kept the day running like clockwork.

Those of our guests who stayed in the hotel, some of them there for four nights, couldn't have been happier with there time there. They loved the breakfast, the rooms and the friendliness of the staff.
Our wedding day guests commented on the impeccable service provided on the day and the quality of the food. A special comment was made about how well the staff treated the table of children at our wedding. It was said that they were treated like little adults. It was great to hear.

We can honestly say that having met the wedding team at Dunboyne we were instantly put at ease and knew that our wedding day was in safe hands. They didn't disappoint, it was a brilliant day and we didn't have to worry about a thing as Tom had it all under control. It has been great to hear that all our guests had such a fantastic time.

We would thoroughly recommend Dunboyne castle to any of our friends for weddings, dinners or just a weekend away. We look forward to coming back.

On the 7th of August this year we held our wedding reception at Dunboyne Castle Hotel. Our day was made perfect by the help of the wonderful staff who helped us plan our day from when we first booked this venue right up to and including our wedding day.

The efficient and professional response from Melanie and Sinéad when we had any queries regarding our wedding day made planning our day so much easier.

On the day of the wedding the service was exceptional. The arrival was very welcoming and it made us feel that our wedding was the only wedding to be held there. Every little detail including the personalised guest book made it very special for us. The food was fantastic and plentiful and complemented by all of our guests. The service during the meal was excellent and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel and staff were highly commended by all of our guests.

We just wanted to Thank You both so very much for all your help in organising our special day on July 31st 2009. Your help and support prior to the big day was invaluable. From when we arrived at Dunboyne Castle we were treated like royalty and the day went off without any problems. The staff in the hotel were amazing and all of our guests have commented on how professional but yet friendly they all were. We did want to give a special Thank You to Tom, he was superb,and made sure we were happy at all times. Tom even guided the best men in their duties which made the day go even better than we thought possible. The banqueting and bar staff members also deserve our appreciation, all of our guests commented on the speedy way in which they received their meals and any additional requests were dealt with with no fuss. All in all we can't Thank Dunboyne Castle Hotel enough for making our day so special. It was the day we had dreamed of when we booked 3 years previously. Hi all,

Now that we have returned to earth with a bang, we just wanted to write to say how perfect our wedding reception was on the 30th January 2010. From start to finish everything went fantastically and if there were any problems we certainly didn't notice or hear of them.

Having planned everything with Melanie, Sinead and Elisabet's expertise, we were in no doubt that it would all be perfect and it turned out just as we had wished. The room looked amazing, the honeymoon suite was beautiful and the food was delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender, the whole day was perfect in fact. Everyone has remarked to us how superb the food on the day was and how brilliant the staff were.

Everyone throughout the day made us feel the centre of attention and ensured everything ran smoothly. A special mention must go to Tom - he really was just brilliant and ensured everything was as we expected, a true asset to have on anyone's wedding day, we cannot say enough about him he ran the day for us and took away all the stress and anxiety about things going to plan!

Thanks again for making our "special" day so special, we definitely made the right choice in venue and would recommend you to anyone.

Everything was amazing, from the champagne on arrival, the beautiful grounds for photos, the hotel itself, the staff, the banqueting room, the fact no-one had to move to set up the dancefloor.....everything. Firstly apologies for the delay in sending this email but I've just arrived back to normality after our wedding on June 5th last, it's been quite a month!

Kieran and I wanted to express our gratitude to you all for the help and support throughout the planning phase of our wedding and throughout the reception. Everything ran like clockwork and we've had nothing but compliments on our choice of venue and on the quality of service on the day itself. And what a fantastic day it was!

Tom, particular thanks to you! Only a couple who have gone through the whirlwind of a wedding day, where you have a million responsibilities and absolutely no time or sense of obligation to undertake with them, can fully understand the outstanding job you do and how much of the workload you shoulder throughout the day. Alan, our bestman and Mike my brother-in-law in particular were in awe of how they only had to mention half of any issue that arose to you and it was dealt it immediately and seamlessly. You really are excellent at your job and extend a level of service far and above that of your job description, for example handwriting out the 'grace before meals prayer'!

The key to the success of the day for us was to learn of a couple of surprises after the event, like guests turning up unexpectedly, evening guests arriving early, others wanting to shift tables, none of which we were alerted to at the reception and all of which you took responsibility for in conjunction with the delivery and organisation of a beautiful meal. Tom you're a godsend to any couple holding a wedding reception and any hotel lucky enough to have you in it's employment.

Ladies, we appreciate your support in planning our wedding reception, in particular with Kieran working abroad there was a constant email relay between all parties so heartfelt thanks to all the team, it truly was a most memorable day and one thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

To Tom, Melanie, Sinead and All the Banqueting Staff, This is just a little email to convey our sincerest thanks to all the staff at Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa. Both myself and my now husband, had our wedding reception in Dunboyne Castle on Thursday, 9th September 2010 and we have to say that we had the most pleasurable, faultless and enjoyable experience.  Unfortunately on the day I became ill, which can be quite inconvenient for a bride on the day of her wedding, but I have to say that Tom, the Banqueting Manager looked after me so well. He tended to every need, whether it be a fan, a bottle of water, the offer of a doctor or even just calming my poor Groom down, as he was getting a little bit stressed with a room full of people to entertain while I had to slip away to the room to compose myself!! Tom & all the banqueting staff looked after us so well on the day, even with all the glitches, the day was a streamless event.  The food, the service and the atmosphere were all second to none and we would just like to thank all possible who were involved in making our wedding day such a special and memorable occasion.  We also had a special birthday celebration that had been forgotten about due to my illness, and a member of the hotel security helped us to organise the celebration at a later stage in the night in the Residents Bar - we owe him a big thank you as we would have been in big trouble had we not made a fuss of the birthday girl!! At the end of Tom's shift he handed over to a guy called "Nipper" and he was equally as helpful throughout the rest of the evening, so a big thanks to him too! A big thanks from us,
