On behalf of Chairman Dr Gearoid Cahill, and the IBD Irish Section Committee, I’d like to extend our thanks and appreciation to you and your team for your part in our AGM and Annual Dinner event last Friday 12th October. It was a great success. We have had very positive feedback from our guests and fellow Committee members. 

The food was very nice and well presented; the function rooms more than met our set up requests, and our  accommodation requirements were met superbly by the Reservations team. The event flowed very smoothly and we appreciate the guidance and advice from the team on the night to ensure a successful evening.

Last week we held an event with you on Thursday October 4th . We are all so busy that we rarely take time to say give positive feedback so hence what this e-mail is all about. 

Our experience was great dealing with  your team for this event . From the beginning it was so easy to deal with Kate , the event was planned with ease on our side. Therese was excellent in facilitating all of the room reservations even with some last minute requests.

On the day John, Michelle and Mil/Mik were excellent , they were so helpful from the early morning set up, to ensuring the room was refreshed during the day . It was great to hold an event that ran so smoothly.

It is a huge undertaking for us and we always have last minute requests but throughout it all, you and your team have been fantastic. The whole event was a great success with much positive feedback and the way that the Dunboyne team worked was a major part of that, helping to transition all the room changes and shifting materials and refreshments to where they were needed. The food was also excellent and the Chef and his team are to be specially thanked for their great work – particularly on the last night rescuing the flavours!
