DUNBOYNE CASTLE HOTEL & SPA,
THE NEW STYLE PARTNER FOR MOST STYLISH LADY AT FAIRYHOUSE,
ANNOUNCES UNA HEALY AS THIS YEAR’S JUDGE
On Easter Monday, 22nd April, Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, the new style partner for Most Stylish Lady 2019 at Fairyhouse Racecourse, welcomed singer - songwriter, Una Healy, as this head judge. It was an exciting day in the racing and style calendar as the €500,000 Boylesports Irish Grand National and Most Stylish Lady officially kicked off the racing and style season for 2019.
The historic racing festival attracts over 25,000 people over three days, and the Most Stylish Lady competition on Easter Monday is the main off-track attraction. Una Healy was joined by executive producer of Xpose, Debbie O’Donnell, and Gráinne Ross, managing director of Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, to choose the most stylish lady on the day. The theme of 2019's Most Stylish Lady was Country Chic, and the judges looked for a lady who was dressed to impress, with her personal take on the theme, and of course, the essential race day head piece.
The winning lady received the best prize for the event to date - a trip to Nashville! The prize included an overnight stay in Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa with dinner, then a private transfer to Dublin Airport, where the winner enjoyed the on-demand luxury services of Platinum Services, including their very own private suite, access to full bar and menu options, shower facilities and more. The winner was then whisked away for four nights to the luxurious Bobby Hotel in Nashville.
Una Healy was excited to visit Co. Meath for this event, saying: I am always so impressed by how women bring such style, elegance, and colour to racing events in Ireland. I know that the task of picking just one lady to receive this wonderful prize, with my fellow judges, will be a difficult one. Mostly, I looked for a lady whose personality shone through in what she is wearing, and for someone who interprets the Country Chic theme in her own unique way.
Adding to this, Gráinne Ross, managing director of Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa, said: We know that the Most Stylish Lady at Fairyhouse is a coveted title, so we are thrilled to be the style partner for this year’s event. We looked forward to welcoming some of the country’s most fashionable women to our marquee on Monday, 22nd April. We’re delighted that the style stakes were as high as ever!
The highly anticipated style event at Fairyhouse has traditionally been known to find new and unique winners through the years such as army captain, Catherine Lundon, from Mullingar, Garda Ciara Murphy from Dunboyne, Michelle Fallon, who designed her own hat with accessories from Penneys & last years winner Paula Gannan, an Art teacher from Athlone.
Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa looks forward to sponsoring the 2020 Most Stylish Lady event.
